These regulations amend the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management (Scales of Fees) Regulations 1998. They update the scales of fees for medical services provided under the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, including fees for medical practitioners and specialists.
Medical practitioners and specialists providing services under the Workers' Compensation scheme will be affected, as the fees they can charge for their services are updated. Insurers and employers will also be affected as they will need to account for the updated fee schedule.
