🏥 CHIIP - Graylands Hospital Facilities Works for Whole of Hospital

Graylands Hospital awarded a $847k contract to Cable8 Electrical Communications for critical ICT infrastructure upgrades under the CHIIP program.

The Facilities Works project is responsible for delivering essential infrastructure upgrades to support the implementation of Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) across Central Communications rooms (CCR) and Floor Communications Rooms (FCR) network enclosures throughout WA Health. At Graylands Hospital, this initiative encompasses a whole-of-hospital approach. The scope of works includes the installation of CHIIP-required infrastructure, as detailed in Attachment GLH00 CHIIP Facility Works and Network Design Solution V1.0_Redacted , which outlines the specific tasks forming this project. The scope of key remediation work includes: Deployment of equipment racks and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Expansion and replacement of fibre cabling where necessary. Installation of enhanced cooling and ventilation systems. These upgrades are critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of CHIIP infrastructure across the hospital.
