The Customer requires the supply of the following Products: Insurance Commission of WA requires the supply and delivery of Local Area Network (LAN) switching & security infrastructure for its new head office and data centres (Data Centre 1 – Malaga and Data Centre 2 – East Perth) The Insurance Commission requires the acquisition and establishment of an extensive suite of networking products as detailed in section 1.1 Goods. The requirements cover various items such as: . Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches. . Palo Alto Networks PA-5410 firewalls with redundant power supplies for robust network protection. . Single mode fibre connections and integrate QSFP+ bidirectional optical transceivers to provide high-bandwidth connectivity. . Internet Edge solutions for optimized border gateway protocol (BGP) operations, network address translation (NAT), and zone-based firewalls (ZBFW). . Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for comprehensive network access and policy management. Respondents are required to supply and deliver the Goods to the applicable campus outlined below in section 2.4.3 – Delivery Instructions. Additional Goods may be purchased from the Contractor, subject to the additional and available budget.

The Insurance Commission of Western Australia awarded a fixed-price contract worth $2,831,200 via Limited Sourcing to Insight Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd. There was only one submission received.
