The Hospital is being purchased to increase the number of public beds available in the WA Public Health System A staged transition is occurring from 1/3/2026 to 31/8/2026 with EMHS purchasing activity from the current Owner and Operator, St John of God Healthcare (SJGHC). This pre-transition activity represents admitted activity to fill the equivalent of 53 new public beds 1/3/2026 to 30/6/2026 and 58 beds from 1/7/2026 to 31/8/2026 as well as non-admitted activity.
