Tender description
The Western Australian (WA) Government has announced a n investment to boost the capability of the public sector through a focused learning initiative to meet the evolving needs of the sector. The WA Public Sector Learning Initiative (‘Program’) is for the state’s 35,000 non-frontline public sector employees (‘Learners’) in 57 public sector agencies (‘Participating Agencies’). The Program aims to deliver centralised and consistent learning across the WA public sector that is agency agnostic, and build a one sector approach to skills development and learning. When fully operational, it is proposed to deliver around 120 courses covering the large range of skills and functions required of a modern public sector. The Public Sector Commission (‘Customer’) is leading the Program and is aiming for the first Tranche of Courses to be available to Learners by late 2025. The Customer is seeking to contract, through a commercial arrangement, a learning services partner (‘Contractor’) with experience driving large scale change in a public sector context; and developing, delivering and maintaining significant learning programs.
