Tender description
Tender for DEMIRS Abandoned Mines Program (AMP) Phase 2, Stage 2 of the Ellendale Rehabilitation works. Ellendale is located approximately one hundred and forty (140) km east of Derby in the WestKimberley region of Western Australia. The Ellendale mine was operated from 2002 - 2015 and consists of two mining areas (E4 and E9). The site was declared an abandoned mine site in accordance with the Mining Rehabilitation Fund Act 2012 in December 2015. Tender relates to the execution of safe Rehabilitation Earthworks on the Ellendale site to address risks associated with landform stability issues. The works program will require scheduling over the dry season (April - December) with contract award planned for September 2025. There is a fully established camp with all facilities (including accommodation, phone service/communications, kitchen, mess, laundry, gym, water, power) on site. This existing camp contract/s will role over to the new appointee
