🏥 CHIIP - Bentley Health Service Facilities Works for Whole of Hospital

WA Health awarded Global Cabling (WA) a $596k contract for critical ICT infrastructure upgrades at Bentley Health Service via Limited Sourcing.

The Facilities Works project is responsible for delivering essential infrastructure upgrades to support the implementation of Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) across Central Communications rooms (CCR) and Floor Communications Rooms (FCR) network enclosures throughout WA Health. At Bentley Health Service, this initiative encompasses a whole-of-hospital approach. The scope of works includes the installation of CHIIP-required infrastructure, as detailed in Attachment 1: Facilities Solution Design, which outlines the specific tasks forming this project. The scope of key remediation work includes: Deployment of equipment racks and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Expansion and replacement of fibre cabling where necessary. Installation of enhanced cooling and ventilation systems. These upgrades are critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of CHIIP infrastructure across the hospital.
