Summary
WA Health Support Services awarded InterWorks a $190,960 contract for Snowflake data engineering services for the CIMS Project, enhancing clinical incident mana
Tender description
Clinical incident and complaints management are critical components of clinical governance. Currently Datix Web enables the Department of Health to monitor and manage patient safety including healthcare acquired infections, medication incidents, falls, and clinical deterioration including mental health deterioration. All of these are critical mandatory components of Health Service Accreditation Scheme as required by the National Health Reform Agreement with the Commonwealth. WA Health has utilised the Datix Web patient safety application since 2014. The Datix CIMS and CFM modules are critical components of patient safety and clinical governance across the system. The CIMS Project will replace the existing Datix CIMS/CFM system with a contemporary, cloud based patient safety and quality improvement application—DatixCloudIQ (DCIQ)—delivered under a Software as a Service (SaaS) model by RLDatix. Health Support Services requires the services of an experienced Snowflake data engineer to deliver the data pipelines for the Clinical Incident Management System (CIMS) Replacement Project. The successful respondent must have significant experience in delivering Snowflake data engineering services and sound understanding of data pipeline development. They will be required to contribute to the technical solution design and ensuring outcomes alignment with whole-of-system standards, architectural practices, and governance processes.
