Tender description
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and registered builder to undertake remediation works and upgrades to the existing Milyering Discovery Centre buildings in Cape Range National Park, Exmouth. The visitor centre is centrally located within the National Park approximately 52km from the Exmouth town centre on the western side of the North-West Cape peninsula. The Milyering Discovery Centre consists of two separate single leaf rammed earth block buildings with exposed timber pitched rafters, corrugated iron roof sheets, ventilated ridge caps, translucent sheets the entire length of all ridges with prismatic diffusers on the internal sides (skylights and covers). The ceiling is clad with compressed straw sheet panels fixed between exposed rafters.
