Tender description
The procurement for the requirements to exit the Landgate Data Centre was approved on 9 September 2019 for an initial term of three years, with two extension options of one year each, at a total contract value of $300,000 including GST. The contract was to provide: 100MB Backup Internet connection at Pier DC 10GB ExpressRoute at NEXTDC-P1 Rack space at Pier DC and NEXTDC-P1; and Cabling via GovNext CUA GNICTS2015 under the Co-location services category. Due to the delay in obtaining approval for a longer than the maximum contract term for Co-location services under the CUA, the ICT Governance and Planning Directorate withdrew its submission for the five year-term, thus reducing the total contract value. Subsequent advice received from GovNext proposed cancellation of Request ED18286 for direct-quote by the suppliers of these services ? Atos and NEC respectively. NEC were requested to provide a quote under ED19389 for the maximum two-year Co-location term. The pre-quote estimate was $110,200 inc GST. Atos? component was estimated at approximately $9,000 inc GST.
