💻 Supply and Install of Replacement ICT Devices for the TAFE Sector under CUACMD2014

WA TAFE sector to receive 1,000 new ICT devices to replace outdated equipment, with a contract valued at an estimated $1.1 million.

There are currently around 18 000 ICT devices (PCs) in use within the TAFE sector. A review of the TAFE colleges’ ICT devices has identified many obsolete and outdated training delivery ICT devices currently in use within the TAFE colleges. It is estimated that approximately 1000 training delivery ICT devices are currently being used by the colleges that exceed 8 years of age and useful life. As part of this contract, the successful respondent will supply, deliver and install approximately 1000 new devices in total to each of the TAFE colleges, including four metropolitan and seven regional campuses. Respondents were invited to offer three separate product options, a PC with 8GB of RAM, a PC with 16GB of RAM or a PC with 8GB of RAM and a monitor.

The Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) awarded a contract valued at an estimated $1,100,000 via a quotation procurement method. The winning contractor was PAL Assembly TA/s EDsys (PAL Assembly T/As EDsys).
