Summary
The Department of Communities (the Department) has a requirement for the services of a Contractor to undertake duties associated with the production of the Housing Authority’s 2025-26 Financial Statements and associated Whole of Government (WOG) disclosure requirements. Key tasks will be undertaken on an as-required and hourly basis, such as: Provide expert advice and analysis on financial accounting issues as required, in particular concerning position papers associated with the Housing Authority. Provide expert advice, analysis and oversight to enable the Housing Authority to meet its Service Concession Arrangements Accounting Reporting solutions pursuant to AASB 1059. In conjunction with the Manager Assets and the Assets Accounting Team: to assist with the required financial statement disclosures covering: AASB 116 Property, Plant and Equipment. AASB 1059 Service Concession Arrangements; and AASB 102 Inventories. liaison with key stakeholders e.g. Housing and Assets, Financial Accounting, Landgate, the OAG etc.
