🚢 Esperance Iron Ore Shed 1 Maintenance and Repair

Safeway won a $3M contract from Southern Ports for Esperance Iron Ore Shed 1 maintenance, involving roof/wall remediation and structural repairs.

Southern Ports invites Offers from suitably qualified and experienced Respondents for the supply of the works to remediate the deteriorated areas of Shed 1 identified in the Scope of Works at Esperance Port ( Site ). Maintenance works required to shed comprise generally but not exhaustively: Removal and disposal of the failed roof cladding, sarking, insulation, netting and supporting purlins Surface preparation and protective coating of structural steelwork at each purlin or girt Structural connection plate/cleat including portal flange beneath members Replacement of the roof cladding, sarking, insulation, netting and supporting purlins with the specified new members and sheeting Removal and disposal of the failed wall cladding, sarking, insulation and supporting girts Replacement of the removed failed wall cladding, sarking, insulation and supporting girts with the specified new members and sheeting Refer to Part E – Specification for further details.

Southern Ports Authority awarded a $3,000,000 (Estimate) contract via Open Tender to Safeway.
