🤖 AI Chatbot Language translation and Website Search Enhancement

DTMI awarded Arkahna a $188,650 contract for AI chatbot language translation and website search enhancement for the Transport WA T-Bot.

The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) seeks a qualified vendor to deliver two projects to enhance the AI-powered chatbot that has been implemented on the Transport WA website. The AI-powered chatbot is hosted on an Azure platform and uses a Provisioned Throughput Unit (PTU) environment to access GPT5.x for the AI Search engine. The AI-chatbot better known as T-Bot has a few components: A chat interface which accepts user prompts and responds directly (by gathering responses from the PTU) from an index that is built on the public facing Transport WA website. A portal to manage configuration changes to the chatbot. An analytics dashboard and engine which gathers all the user prompts and responses for the day and produces analytics data for the transport team. Internal component such as the PII service for data privacy and a system prompt list that improves the user experience and prevents certain sensitive topics from being answered by the AI Chatbot.
