Tenders sought for Casuarina Prison infrastructure upgrade, including new fibre optic security network, on behalf of WA Housing and Justice departments.

Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Housing and Works (DHW) and Department of Justice (DOJ) are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake Infrastructure Upgrade at Casuarina Prison.

The Work includes but is not limited to the upgrade and replacement of the existing Perimeter Detection System (PDS) communications infrastructure, including the installation of a new fibre optic Security Communication Network (SCN) to replace the existing end-of-life direct-buried coaxial communication system. The project includes the supply and installation of new pits, conduits, power and communications cabling, fibre optic cabling, and Equipment Cabinets (ECs), together with the migration of the existing perimeter security systems onto the new network.

Respondents must complete and submit via email the provided confidentiality agreement to tenders.wa@programmed.com.au to attain access to Annexure 1 – Scope, Specification & Drawings as part of the tender documentation.
