East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) and Health Support Services (HSS) will be undertaking planned facility and information technology infrastructure upgrades to Critical Comms Rooms (CCRs) across Bentley Health Service (BHS) and Royal Perth Hospital (RPH). These upgrades are required to: Address concerns around historical under-investment in EMHS LAN infrastructure Ensure the personal health data of patients is protected Address known issues/risks with existing network security Support contemporary digital technologies, both current and future. Increase security visibility within EMHS LAN infrastructure Increase security separation between EMHS systems and sites
