🏥 SMHS Rockingham General Hospital Facilities Works (whole of hospital)

Nilsen WA Pty Ltd secured a $724,300 contract for critical IT infrastructure upgrades at Rockingham General Hospital to support the CHIIP system.

The Facilities Works project is responsible for delivering essential infrastructure upgrades to support the implementation of CHIIP across Central Communications rooms (CCR) and Floor Communications Rooms (FCR) network enclosures throughout WA Health. At Rockingham General Hospital (SMHS), this initiative encompasses a whole-of-hospital approach. The scope of works includes the installation of CHIIP-required infrastructure, as detailed in Attachment 1: Facilities Solution Design, which outlines the specific tasks forming this project. The scope of key remediation work includes: Deployment of equipment racks and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Expansion and replacement of fibre cabling where necessary. Installation of enhanced cooling and ventilation systems. These upgrades are critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of CHIIP infrastructure across the hospital.

Health Support Services awarded a contract valued at an estimated $724,300 via Panel HSS304918 to Nilsen WA Pty Ltd. Three submissions were received.
