South Metropolitan TAFE (SM TAFE) is one of Western Australia’s most diverse training providers with major campuses in Bentley, Carlisle, Fremantle, Murdoch, Rockingham, Thornlie and Mandurah. SM TAFE offers more than 300 qualifications including foundation courses, apprenticeships, traineeships, diplomas and skill sets. SM TAFE have over 30,000 students across Perth campuses. SM TAFE's AeroSpace Training Centre at Jandakot Campus is the largest training facility in Western Australia (WA) offering training in aircraft maintenance, commercial pilot licences (fixed wing and rotary) and aviation support services. SM TAFE is seeking flight training services for two (2) categories of aircraft - Rotary and Fixed-wing. Respondents may tender for one (1) or both categories.

South Metropolitan TAFE awarded a contract valued at an estimated $12,000,000 via an Open Advertisement procurement method. The winning contractors are Airflite Pty Ltd, Corsaire Aviation (Corsaire Pty Ltd), Jandakot Heli-Co PTY LTD, and Pal Education (Major Blue Air Pty Ltd).
