Artist Expression of Interest - Opportunity A part of Enabling Works for the New Youth Detention Facility project.

We’re calling out for Expressions of Interest for a major integrated public artwork commission at the New Youth Detention Facility (NYDF).

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are sought from a Noongar artist or artist team including a Noongar artist. The artist/team must have experience delivering public art projects and integrating artwork into the built environment.

The commission includes a large-scale entrance mural and integrated façade artwork embedded within the architecture and landscape of the facility.

The artwork will form part of a broader art strategy and include integrated public art elements across the facility, including an entrance mural and façade treatments. The artwork should create a welcoming identity for the precinct while supporting connection to Country, placemaking and wayfinding.
