Tender description
The Department has incrementally been improving the Wellington National Park mountain bike and walk trails as part of the Collie Adventure Trails Project. Stage 1 trails adjacent to the Kiosk Precinct were completed in 2022. Stage 3 trails west of River Road were completed in 2024. The final component of the trail works is to upgrade the existing hikers only Jabitj Trail to a dual direction, dual use pathway. This will link the Stage 3 trails and existing Mount Lennard Network to the kiosk. The Contractor will be responsible for upgrading the existing Jabitj Trail including realignment of a section of the trail to avoid an identified Aboriginal Site, trail widening and drainage improvement works and rehabilitation works
