Tender description
The Department of Transport (DoT) requires the manufacture, supply and delivery management of vehicle number plates. In terms of supply, this includes the manufacturing of new and remade general issue ordinary vehicle number plates, optional vehicle number plates, sample plates for new number plate concepts and the creation of artwork for paper and electronic samples of number plate concepts. Delivery management entails the secure storage, packing and sorting of vehicle number plate orders into consignments, along with the preparation and lodgment of consignments with DoT’s nominated courier (a separate contractor). In addition to the manufacture, supply and delivery management of vehicle number plates, the contractor will also be required to: Develop, implement and maintain a technological interface with the Transport Executive and Licensing Information System (TRELIS); Provide production and warranty reports, and report on the Participation Plan as per the WA Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS); and Manage services for the sale of Australian Football League (AFL) plates.
