🏗️ Underbore and Fibre Installation - Radio Systems Replacement

PTA awarded Platinum Locating Services a $190k contract for fibre installation and underbore works for the Radio Systems Replacement project.

As part of the Radio Systems Replacement project, the PTA is responsible for the provision of fibre installation providing fibre connectivity to sites of the RSR System located on Main Roads fibre (e.g. Freeway gantries) between Nowergup Depot communications room and Main Roads splice pit situated in the suburb of Nowergup, east of Ridgewood, and between Clarkson and Butler stations, within the median of the Mitchell Freeway between the Lukin Drive and Hester Avenue interchanges. PTA are seeking an experienced and qualified contractor to undertake fibre installation works, which include but are not limited to: ?Underbore operations beneath the freeway. ?Fibre optic cable installation. ?Fibre testing and validation. ?Final Acceptance Audit (FAA) compliance and documentation. The successful contractor must demonstrate proven expertise in similar infrastructure projects, adhere to all relevant safety and quality standards, and provide comprehensive testing and certification reports upon completion.

The Public Transport Authority awarded Platinum Locating Services (MME Underground Services Pty Ltd) a contract valued at an estimated $190,877 through a Limited Sourcing procurement method.
