WA Health awarded a $3M panel contract to 37 consultants for engineering, architectural, and clinical services for health facility assessments statewide.

The Customer, LARU, is seeking to establish a Head Agreement for a Panel of suitably qualified and capable specialist consultancy firms/individuals to provide building assessment and standards review services for projects in both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. The Customer undertakes a statutory requirement for the monitoring and compliance of private health care facilities, which fall under the Act and carries out investigations of public health facilities as required. To meet this requirement, LARU is seeking to establish a Panel of industry specialists who will be engaged on an as required basis to assist in the review and assessment of health facilities against the criteria set out in the relevant WA health standards and guidelines or other criteria as specified. Contractors will be required to provide reports to LARU based on their assessment within the specified time. The proposed Panel will comprise external consultants from the following Specialist Discipline categories: Architectural Consultants Clinical Consultants Fire Engineering Consultants; and Engineering Consultants.

The Department of Health (Royal Street) awarded an estimated $3,000,000 contract via Open Tender to a panel of 37 winning contractors for engineering, architectural, and clinical consulting services.
