The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Aboriginal business specialising in business development in the Aboriginal bush products and botanicals industry, to deliver the Seed to Success: Acceleration Program, co-funded through the Future Drought Fund Farm Business Resilience Program. This targeted initiative will engage five established Aboriginal businesses as direct clients to accelerate the growth and sustainability of their bushfood enterprises. Through intensive, personalised support, the program aims to unlock each business’ full potential and position them for long-term success. Program Objectives Deliver tailored consulting services, expert advice, and strategic guidance Support clients in developing practical business strategies aligned with their unique models Identify and pursue growth opportunities, while addressing operational challenges Build roadmaps for continued development, informed by industry trends and sustainability goals Key Features One-on-one business coaching and mentoring Strategic planning aligned with each client’s vision and capacity Support across marketing, operations, governance, and financial planning Long-term sustainability focus, including export readiness and supply chain integration Through an expression of interest process run by DPIRD – five established Aboriginal bushfood businesses from across the state will take part in the pilot.
