Tender description
An existing building at Nowergup Depot has been identified which can be used to undertake static testing activities for the C-Series railcars, namely, the Refurbishment and Maintenance (R&M) Facility. In order to comply with Alstom’s safety management requirements for static testing, the Nowergup R&M Facility must be fitted with a secure Building Access System (BAS). The proposed BAS will be highly similar to the system already in use at the Bellevue HV Testing Facility. As such, the PTA requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake design, supply, and installation of this Building Access System at Nowergup Depot.
