🏥 Medical Equipment and Imaging Replacement Program - Prioritisation Framework and Funding Model

KPMG Australia secured a $99,789 contract from WA Health to develop a medical equipment replacement strategy and funding model for the 2026-27 Budget.

The Department seeks to develop an effective replacement strategy for medical equipment and medical imaging equipment through a rolling program to address the future funding needs of the health system. This includes the development of a prioritisation framework and the consideration of alternative funding strategies (e.g. lease vs outright purchases) to support a more sustainable program. These will form part of a business case for submission to the 2026-27 Budget.

The Department of Health (Royal Street) awarded a fixed-price contract of $99,789 to KPMG Australia. The procurement method used was CUA CUAAFA2024 - Audit and Financial Advisory Services Common Use Arrangement (CUA).
