South Metropolitan TAFE (SM TAFE) is a large Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering nationally recognised vocational education and training (VET) programs across Western Australia, interstate, and internationally. SM TAFE is seeking to procure an integrated online learning and assessment solution to support efficient delivery of VET programs, enabling effective online and blended learning, learner assessment and tracking, and compliance with regulatory requirements. SM TAFE is transitioning from its current Learning Management System (Blackboard) to the new Leaning Management System (Canvas). In the event that the new LMS (Canvas) is not ready in time and SM TAFE is required to continue to use Blackboard at the time of Contract Award, the solution should be able to integrate with both systems, to reduce reliance on internal content development, and respond efficiently to ongoing updates to national training packages. Respondents are required to provide a comprehensive solution, including a platform or capability that integrates with the LMS, along with access to a substantial library of compliant, nationally recognised VET learning and assessment resources that can be delivered online and contextualised as required.
