DTMI is seeking cost management services for the Acacia Prison Expansion Project, with tender release estimated for June 2026.

The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) – Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery (OMID) would like to announce an upcoming procurement for Cost Management Services for the Acacia Prison Expansion Project (APEP) in the Perth metropolitan area. This is an Early Tender Advice only and no documents are available for download.

Indicative Scope

The indicative scope for the provision of cost management services includes, but is not limited to:

Compilation of a monthly cost report incorporating all cost information across all components of the Project, in accordance with the OMID reporting format. Provision of advice and recommendations regarding cost risks and value management opportunities. Review and commentary on Contractor-provided cost information, as required by the State. Attendance at meetings and site visits, as required by the State. Review, evaluation, and provision of advice on all project costs and budgets, including those associated with State advisors and other contractors. Oversight of cost-related aspects of the Design and Construct (D&C) Works and other project components to support delivery within the approved budget and achieve value for money outcomes. Assistance in the evaluation of project elements relating to budget and cost performance. Review and provision of advice on monthly payment claims and variation claims. Attendance at site visits related to payment claims and provision of recommendations to the State. Review of Contractor cashflow submissions. Preparation of a whole-of-project cashflow covering all works, including D&C Works and State costs, structured in accordance with an agreed work breakdown structure. Provision of any other cost management services as directed by the State. Anticipated Key Dates

Services Completion – 24 months from award, with extension options at the discretion of OMID
