These regulations amend the Prisons Regulations 1982. They insert Part 3B relating to inspection and disclosure of medical records and mandatory taking of blood or other body samples. COVID-19 is prescribed as an infectious disease. The regulations outline procedures for notifying suspected transfer of bodily fluid, test authorisation notices, and disclosure of test results.
