Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, owners/occupiers of land within the Shire of Ravensthorpe are required to clear firebreaks and remove flammable materials by October 12, 2020, or within 14 days of becoming the owner/occupier, and maintain them until April 27, 2021. Details vary based on zoning (town site, rural, rural residential, plantations). Variations can be applied for before October 1st each year.
