Notice to owners/occupiers of land within the Shire of Augusta Margaret River. Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, fire prevention work is required by 30 November 2024 and maintained up to and including 12 May 2025, except for APZs which must be maintained all year round. Inspections can be requested by 1 November 2024. Non-compliance may result in a $250 infringement or prosecution with a penalty up to $5,000.
