It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the Town of Claremont Local Planning Scheme No. 3 on 17 August 2026 for the purpose of amending the scheme map to zone various unzoned portions of lots adjacent to Stirling Highway to 'Highway', rezone 42 Reserve Street from 'Residential' to 'Highway', amend residential density codes to R-AC1, and modify Appendix 7 entries and clauses related to development in the 'Highway' zone.
