Affected persons are notified of a relevant event that can cause an entitlement to compensation under the Fishing and Related Industries Compensation (Marine Reserves) Act 1997 due to the establishment of the Ngari Capes Marine Park and prohibitions on commercial fishing. Applications for compensation must be submitted to the Minister for Fisheries by 4:30pm on 28 February 2019.
