The council of the Shire of Broome resolved on 25 February 2021 to make the following local law under the powers conferred by the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007 and the Local Government Act 1995. This local law commences 14 days after publication in the Government Gazette and applies throughout the district. It repeals Division 2 of Part 4 of the Shire of Broome Health Local Laws 2006 with the exception of clause 4.2.11.

Requires landowners in the Shire of Broome to install and maintain fire breaks between May 15th and December 31st.
