Under the powers of the Local Government Act 1995, the Council of the Town of Victoria Park resolved on 18 June 2019 to make the Meeting Procedures Local Law 2019. The purpose is to provide rules and procedures for the conduct of meetings of the council, its committees and any meeting of electors. It comes into operation on 1 August 2019 or 14 days after publication in the Government Gazette, whichever is later.
