In accordance with Section 45 (1) (c) of the Racing and Wagering Western Australia Act 2003, notice is hereby given that the Board of Racing and Wagering WA on 3 October 2025 resolved to amend the RWWA Rules of Greyhound Racing 2022 as followsβ Amendments to National Rules effective 1 November 2025. Amend Definition title: βDNA fingerprint analysisβ to βDNA identity profilingβ. DNA identity profiling: means the process used by an approved DNA laboratory for the purpose of identifying and ascertaining the identity, biographical heritage or pedigree of a greyhound from a DNA sample. Add new Rules 30A, 30B. Amend Rules 39, 135. Amend Sub-Rules 67(3)(b), 139(4)(b). Add new Sub-Rules 138(f). A copy of the above rules may be obtained during office hours from the RWWA offices at 14 Hasler Road, Osborne Park 6017, WA or Racing and Wagering Western Australia website, www.rwwa.com.au.
