I, commander dean snashall 9342, state emergency coordinator, hereby declare an emergency situation in respect of the space re-entry debris incident adjacent to green head in the midwest gascoyne region of western australia. The area of the state to which the emergency situation declaration applies is— green head, western australia. Time when the declaration made: 11:40am. Date on which declaration made: 17 july 2023. This emergency situation declaration has effect from 11:40 monday 17 july 2023 and remains in force until— (a) expiry (3 days after taking effect); or (b) the expiry of any extension of the emergency situation declaration made by the state emergency coordinator under section 52 of the emergency management act 2005. This emergency situation declaration is made under section 50 of the emergency management act 2005.
