Made by the minister under section 90(2) of the Public Health Act 2016. This order may be cited as the Public Health (Notifiable Infectious Disease) Order 2024. This order comes into operation on the day it is made. This order expires 6 months from the commencement date. Avian influenza in humans is declared to be a notifiable infectious disease and an urgently notifiable infectious disease.
