Pursuant to powers delegated under the Bush Fires Act 1954, the Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, declared under Section 22A of the Bush Fires Act 1954, a total fire ban for 29 December 2021 for the local government districts of— Ashburton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Exmouth, East Pilbara, Carnarvon, Shark Bay, Cue, Meekatharra, Menzies, Mount Magnet, Murchison, Sandstone, Upper Gascoyne, Wiluna, Yalgoo, Laverton, Ngaanyatjarraku, Greater Geraldton, Chapman Valley, Mingenew, Morawa, Northampton, Carnamah, Coorow, Dandaragan, Irwin, Waroona, Murray, Armadale, Gosnells, Swan, Chittering, Gingin, Kalamunda, Mundaring and Serpentine-Jarrahdale.
