I, Dr Phillip Gorey, the Deputy Director General, Resource and Environmental Regulation at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, pursuant to the powers conferred on me by section 9(1) of the Mining Rehabilitation Fund Act 2012, declare the following land to be an abandoned mine site for the purposes of the Mining Rehabilitation Fund Act 2012— Land surrounding the former Wheal Ellen Mine Shafts and Open Pits, situated on Crown and Freehold land approximately 2.3km southwest of Northampton, being the land shown hatched in black and identified by the coordinates set out in the Schedule.
