The council of the City of Canning resolved on 16 December 2025 to make the following local law: amends the City of Canning Local Government Property and Public Places Local Law 2021, published in the Government Gazette on 4 October 2021. Inserts a new term in clause 1.5 as follows— “tree” means a tree or tall plant that has a wooden trunk and branches that grow from its upper part, planted or self-sown in local government property. Deletes clause 4.2(1)(b) and insert. Deletes Item 24 of Schedule 1 and insert.
