The council of the Shire of Halls Creek resolved on 12 December 2019 to make the following local law under the powers conferred on it by the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007 and the Local Government Act 1995. This is the Shire of Halls Creek Waste Local Law 2020, commencing 14 days after publication in the Government Gazette. This local law applies throughout the district.

Appoints Noel Mason, Musa Mono, Dean Graham, Jodie Taylor, Desmond Darby Jnr, Theresa Darby, Lurlene Button, and Farah Rummani as authorised or registration officers for the Shire of Halls Creek.
Appoints Kathryn Jane Walker as Senior Ranger, Pound Keeper and Authorised Officer for the Shire of Halls Creek.
Amends the Shire of Halls Creek Fencing Local Law 2017 regarding electric security fences and other specifications.
