These regulations amend the Rights in Water and Irrigation Regulations 2000. They introduce new regulations (41A to 41F) concerning metering conditions for water licences, including requirements for meter installation, maintenance, and reporting. The regulations also outline penalties for non-compliance and provisions for alternative measurement methods and exemptions. Schedule 4, defining the Gnangara groundwater plan area, is inserted.
