The Western Australian Planning Commission under the powers conferred by the Planning and Development Act 2005 makes the following improvement scheme for Port Hedland West End.

Rezones approximately 126 hectares in Wattle Grove from Rural to Urban zone.
Submits Lyon and Kinley Roads, Banjup amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme to Parliament to rezone 57.76 hectares from Rural—Water Protection to Urban and Urban Deferred zones.
Rezones approximately 59 ha of land in Ballajura from Rural—Water Protection to Urban and Regional Open Space.
