The Minister for Planning has approved, as modified, the abovementioned amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Plan Number 3.2787/1 and is effective on and from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette. The purpose of the amendment is to rezone approximately 126 hectares in the Wattle Grove locality from the Rural zone to the Urban zone and to apply the EC designation on the Metropolitan Region Scheme map.
