The council of the Shire of Wagin resolved on 16 December 2025 to make the following local law under the Cat Act 2011 and the Local Government Act 1995. This local law is the Shire of Wagin Cat Local Law 2025 and comes into operation on the fourteenth day after publication in the Government Gazette. The local law applies throughout the district.
