The fes commissioner is the prescribed hazard management agency (hma) for emergency management for the hazard of cyclone. I, craig waters, deputy commissioner operations of the department of fire and emergency services, as a delegate acting for the hma hereby declare an emergency situation in respect of the tropical cyclone luana (incident 769057). The area of the state to which the emergency situation declaration applies is— shire of broome, shire of derby/west kimberley, and the shire of wyndham/east kimberley.
