Summary of the order adopted by the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley under Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954. Landowners are required to carry out fire prevention work on land they own or occupy on or before 1st May every year and maintain it free of all inflammable material until 15th January of the following year. Firebreaks are to be maintained as stipulated in the schedule. Failure to comply may result in an infringement notice or prosecution.
