Michael Sparkman, Inspector, delegated officer of the Minister for Transport, approves the temporary suspension of the Road Traffic Act and/or Regulations for cycling road races and motor races in various locations. Suspensions apply to specific regulations of the Road Traffic Code 2000 to allow cyclists to ride in a peloton and motor racing events to occur on closed roads.
