Under section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, the land owner/occupant is required to carry out fire prevention work in accordance with the provisions of this order. Failure to comply with this notice may result in a $250 on the spot fine and may result in a $5,000 penalty. Minimum property requirements are detailed in the order.
